Landgasthof Zum Schildhauer in Halfing

Spent one night there because we are being treated with our son in the SchönKlinik. We were very satisfied, the lady at the front desk was friendly and came to meet us when we had a request! Breakfast was great too. We will definitely be back!

We ate here twice on our vacation! The service is great, the food is served quickly and the quality / quantity of the food is great! Here we cook regionally and seasonally! The boss even comes by in person! The restaurant is the first in town and will stay that way ... unless the others change anything!

The quality of the food was very good. Individual requests were also taken into account. The room was simply furnished and clean. Our terrace was in need of renovation (roof), so we couldn't give it 5 stars. A car is necessary for excursions. Overall, definitely recommendable.

Staff friendly except for one person! Food not particularly good and outside not very nice, unfortunately! Could be cleaner and the planting is not nice!

Partly unfriendly service, food is unlucky and the ability to criticize is almost zero.

So the food there wasn't very tasty. The breakfast was brought to the table by Corona, personally I didn't find it good, you had to be satisfied with what was on the plate. Our room was great, large, new and clean. The service, the younger lady was very nice , the blonde lady always a bit brisk and curt. The pool is very large, but unfortunately the area around it is not very appealing. Very dark.

Home cooking and sitting surrounded by vines. Service and food are excellent. Very clear recommendation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were there today. So, first of all, the condition wasn't wearing her mask properly. It wasn't at all on the nose but was hanging somewhere between the chin and nose. The choice of the card is really poor and the waiting time is very long. We were in a hurry at the end because we didn't know we had to wait that long. Even after we paid, the condition never came and then simply took the people who spontaneously said they wanted to pay first and then disappeared again. (Also, my "spinach dumplings" were simple dumplings with a few spinach leaves) Wouldn't go again.

Friendly staff would go back again and again. Breakfast was very good and sufficient

Bed sheet had a hole / bathroom = shower leaking, had to mop up water with towels, was not repaired / cobwebs on wall / dust over the mosaic / finishing strips were missing on the ceiling Balcony = no go, not well-kept, old plants ... Little choice in the evening menu, although more is offered in the showcase ?! The area in front of the hotel and around it needs to be renewed and tidied up The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great

A waitress at the front desk and in the evening was very rude. To reserve a table on request: would not be necessary. 45 minutes later we did not get a table in the outdoor area and unfortunately cheeky answers. Pity! If the delicious other restaurant Sießlbräu had been open, we would not have left any money here for dinner. Room was ok, breakfast and the service in the morning were great! It was okay for one night, but not for two weeks of vacation! 3 star deduction: Partly unfriendly reception / service, noise from the busy street, salad buffet not very appealing and leafy lettuce sandy

Fabulous hotel, the host was amazing and our stay was extremely homely. It's a typical Bavarian style hotel, pool was Great, absolutely recommend if you need to stay in the area.

5 days at the Hotel Landgasthof Zum Schildhauer. What was positive? Very friendly and nice hosts. Enjoy your meal. Large clean room with a balcony and mountain views. Great little bathing paradise. Not so good: no shower, only bathtub without curtain or shower screen. Lift is not enough to the upper floor. Very bright and loud in the morning, because the curtains let in a lot of light and the house is on a busy street. But you arrange yourself. Conclusion: Price and performance is right, so 4.5 stars.

We were on the afternoon of Shrove Monday at the Landgasthaus Schildhauer. There was a wide selection of good cakes and coffee. The Kindergarde and Jugendgarde from Bad Endorf performed. It was wonderful to see the young people in beautiful costumes doing their acrobatic dance. It was a lovely afternoon.

Service - Slow,Inacurate...Hotel staff speak languages if you want to order or ask something, but if you have complain they cant understand nothing. Charging is at will with no recietes...Been there never again.
